SECO performs Automotive Lift Inspections following the guidance provided by the AmericanNational Standard/Automotive Lift Institute, Inc.
The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) recommends all vehicle lifts be inspected by a qualified inspector at least annually in order to ensure reliability and allow the continued safe operation of the lift. Additionally, an increasing number of local building codes and other regulations require annual lift inspections.
SECO, is an authorized installer and service agent for most lift manufacturers. Our service staff constantly update their lift knowledge with comprehensive factory training on installation, maintenance, and inspections for a multitude of lifts. In addition to years of field experience, our inspectors attend courses on: Basic Electricity, Electrical Safety, Basics Hydraulics, Plumbing, Hand and Power Tool Safety, and Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
Lift inspections done by SECO include general maintenance procedures. Cables are adjusted, pivot points are lubricated where applicable, and torque is verified on all anchor bolts. Quotations will be provided for any additional work needed outside of the inspection.
SECO will work with you to schedule an inspection and provide minimal disruption to your service department. Your lifts will be numbered and a lift inspection sticker with the inspector’s name and the date will be applied to the lift. You will be presented with a binder containing Lift Inspection Reports to file for your records. If your records are ever misplaced, we maintain secondary copies for 3 years.
